The California Navel Season is just getting started, with the season lasting from the end of October to June. The Navel Orange is seedless and is aesthetically a much darker orange color than the summer valencia oranges. The season also brings Cara Cara Oranges. Originally discovered in 1976 in Cara Cara, Venezuela, this crop quickly became my favorite type of orange, as well as millions of others. Quick tip: try juicing the Cara Cara - delicious!!
