My first memory of Avocados was as a boy working at my Dad's Produce company located on Chicago's Produce Market. The vendors for breakfast (which for us was at 4:00am) would cut avocados with their produce knife, squeeze a little lime on it, salt it, and eat it - that's it. It was delicious! I've been obsessed with avocados ever since. There's something about the smooth, creamy flavor that blends well with almost anything. Nowadays I like to spread it on toast.
