Eat the Change™ is a new Bethesda, MD based company founded by activist entrepreneur Seth Goldman and celebrity chef Spike Mendelsohn. They’re on a mission to create chef-crafted and nutrient dense snacks that are kind to the planet.
Eat the Change recently launched their first product, an organic mushroom jerky in five crave-able flavors: Sea Salt + Cracked Pepper, Hickory Smokehouse, Maple Mustard, Teriyaki Ginger, and Habanero BBQ. Their jerky is marinated and wood smoked to impart a rich and savory flavor, and uses organic mushrooms grown from a 4th generation family farm in Kennett Square, PA.

Hot & Spicy: Habanero BBQ is for those of you who like things extra hot! Their classic smoky barbeque flavors are intensified with the complex and spicy habanero pepper and balanced with tamarind for tartness and pineapple and agave for a hint of sweetness.
Sweet & Tangy: Maple Mustard is a perfect pairing that balances the sweetness and depth of maple syrup with the zip and tang of mustard. Whole mustard seeds are included for an extra pop of texture while turmeric provides a note of earthiness.
Bold & Zesty: Sea Salt + Cracked Pepper takes a steakhouse approach with a dry rub technique to bring out the earthy and meaty quality of their organic mushrooms.
Sweet & Savory: Teriyaki Ginger incorporates elements of sweet, salty, sour, and umami to provide a uniquely balanced and craveable flavor profile.
Rich & Smoky: Hickory Smokehouse takes a traditional barbeque approach that emphasizes the natural deep and complex flavors of low and slow cooking. With touches of tomato and paprika for richness, this variety is reminiscent of bacon and let's their real hickory wood smoke shine through.
